Our home had been listed with another broker since October or November, hitting the market in December. They switched firms several months into the contract. In the time they had the listing they had 2 open houses where no one attended and I believe they had 4 showings. In the first 2 weeks Doug had the listing I believe we had 8 showings. His knowledge and experience with the market area was a huge asset. He kept us informed rapidly of any activity and made himself available anytime. Once things started moving, I believe Doug went well above and beyond. I had never sold a house before and was very nervous and concerned. I never knew exactly what to expect, what to do, etc. I always had a 'ton' of questions. In addition, what he was trying to sell was not the easiest property. Though the new buyer had a lot of demands, the final result is that I no longer have to deal with the property. The selling price far exceeded my original expectations.
